Gary Mendell, founder, Chairman, and CEO of Shatterproof, established the organization following the tragic loss of his son Brian to addiction in 2011. With a deep desire to spare other families from similar tragedies, Mr. Mendell embarked on a mission to address addiction and promote recovery. Prior to Shatterproof, he held leadership positions in the hospitality industry, including being the Chairman and CEO of HEI Hotels & Resorts, overseeing a portfolio of 65 hotels. Mr. Mendell's dedication to improving public health is evident through his involvement with initiatives such as the Clinton Health Matters Initiative and President Obama's Better Building Challenge. He holds a B.S. from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration and an MBA with distinction from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania

Inky Johnson started at a normal college football game in Neyland Stadium on September 9, 2006. The game changed everything. A routine tackle turned into a life-threatening injury, and nothing has been normal for Inky ever since. With a master’s degree in sports psychology from the University of Tennessee. Ashley Smith

Ashley Smith is known worldwide as the single mother who persuaded Brian Nichols, Atlanta’s courtroom killer, to surrender to police. Nichols himself called Ashley “an angel sent from God", but ironically, it was Ashley’s less-than-angelic past that convinced him to face justice. Ashley believes God led her through the highly publicized experience to help “unlikely angels” everywhere find hope.

Josh currently serves as Assistant Director of the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team & Specialized Ministries. He has previously served in various other ministry roles including Senior Pastor at Pathway Church of Charlotte, Celebration Direction for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, and Associate Pastor of Church of the Open Door. Josh holds a B.S. in Pastoral Ministries from Lee University in Cleveland, TN and a M.A. in Religion from Southern Evangelical Seminary. Guy Williams, co-founder of Gulf Coast Bank & Trust in 1990, has been serving as the President and CEO for the past 26 years. Alongside his banking career, he has actively contributed to education, including his involvement with Loyola University, Nunez Community College, S. Martin's Episcopal High School, and Tulane University. Recognized for his religious work, Mr. Williams has received various awards such as the New Orleans Federation of Church's Caring Cup, The New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary Mike Mosow award, The Wings of Faith award, and Christ the Healer's award. Additionally, he has provided leadership in the banking industry, serving as the president of the Louisiana Bankers Association and on the Board of Directors of the American Banking Association. Currently, he serves on several boards, including the Jefferson Business Council, Greater New Orleans, Inc., Baptist Community Ministries, and Christ Community Health Center, among others.
